What is the Higher Degree? How Can I help? What do I need to know? Updated May 2017

The official logo of the Council of Higher Degrees is a standing Moose overlaid on six interlocking rings representing the degrees of the Order.

The color of the rings denote the degrees: Pilgrim is gold: Fellowship is French Blue: Moose Legion is maroon: College of Regents is black: Academy of Friendship is blue: and the Star Recorder is green.

Composition of Higher Degrees

The Council of Higher Degrees consists of:
Members of the Pilgrim Degree of Merit, the Fellowship Degree of Honor, the Moose Legion Degree of Service, the College of Regents, the Academy of Friendship and the Star Recorders

Purpose

Council is a separate and autonomous unit of the Order. The purpose of the Council of Higher Degree is:

1. To be actively involved in the retention of Lodge, Chapter and Moose Legion members.

2. To promote and support the programs of Moose Charities.

3. To honor all newly elevated members of the higher degrees.

4. To honor the memories of deceased members of the Council of Higher Degrees.

5. To promote the programs of the Loyal Order of Moose and Women of The Moose.

6. To encourage fraternal and social unity, benevolence and charity among all members of the Order.

Brothers and Co-Workers,
The Mid Year Conference has been scheduled for March 09th thru 12th, 2017 at Longmont Lodge 1548. It was originally scheduled for Loveland Lodge 484, but due to circumstances beyond their control, it had to be moved. Loveland and Longmont are co-hosting the conference. A copy of the registration form and the agenda has been uploaded to this website. Both are in pdf format. Please send all booklet ads to Longmont Lodge 1548. Registration deadline will be on February 23rd, after that registration fee increases by $5.00, as do the meal costs increase $5.00. Please send your registration to my new address listed below. I look forward to seeing everyone there.
